This is the third-base baseline.


            What’s your baseline?  You know, your M.O., status quo, default button?  Chances are, when the pressure’s on, your baseline will either lead to a game-ending choke or a life-lifting victory.

    Think Bill Buckner.  Think Mariano Rivera. One is remembered for choking.  The other remembered as the most reliable Closer of all time.  

A consistent yoga practice allows you to witness your baseline as it shifts, day by day, sometimes even breath by breath. Overtime, as you begin to understand your emotional and mental patterns, you will become more steady.
