Ever feel locked up?
Sometimes a yoga pose can make you feel this way.
Sometimes an opponent can make you feel this way, too.
And sometimes life itself can feel this way -- tight, constrained, shut.
Like a Master lock.
Without a key.
The lock pictured here is on a surfboard in a locker in Waikiki.
If you look close enough, you can see some water still dripping from its chain.
Only moments before, the board was skimming the waves, free.
There's a rhythm here.
Free and fluid,
Still and contained.
Can we practice patience and presence in the breath of each?
Patient in the lock.
Present in the waves.
