Last spring, I had a perch above the Pacific to do my morning practice. And every morning, I would see this guy paddling in. It was always just around the time I was finishing my morning sun salutations as he made his way out of the water to glide off into his day.
This is the ritual. The commitment to clear the mind before the day begins to take shape.
This morning time alone, to gather our selves, is key. The day ahead is designed to throw us off balance. We must design ourselves to remain centered.
